v12 v13 3 3 RoutingSim is a simulation framework that allows the analysis of the algorithmic 4 4 behaviour of routing protocols in large-scale networks. To this end, it provides 5 network topologies, pre-calculated shortest paths, several network dynamic models (e.g,6 catastrophic failure or weibull distributed lifetime churn). Th e intended audience5 network topologies, pre-calculated shortest paths, and several network dynamic models (e.g, 6 catastrophic failure or weibull distributed lifetime churn). This provides a ready-to-go evaluation environment that allows rapid prototyping and testing of fresh approaches to routing. The intended audience 7 7 of RoutingSim are researchers who seek reproducible, scalable, and comparable simulation 8 results independently from a specific type of network (e.g., ad-hoc networks ,or sensor networks).8 results independently from a specific type of network (e.g., ad-hoc networks or sensor networks). 9 9 10 Currently RoutingSim only has only a extended variant of Virtual Ring Routing (eVRR) 11 implemented. However, we're working on the portation many other protocols, like Distributed Compact 12 Routing (Disco), or Dynamic Address RouTing (DART). 10 Currently RoutingSim includes an implementation of extended Virtual Ring Routing (eVRR). Many other protocols, e.g., Distributed Compact 11 Routing (Disco) or Dynamic Address RouTing (DART) are under preparation and will be made available to the community within the next few months. 13 12 14 We are currently setting up the pages, if you need a quick tour of RoutingSim please visit15 the [wiki:doc documentation] 13 We are currently setting up these pages, if you need a quick tour of RoutingSim please visit 14 the [wiki:doc documentation]. 16 15 17 You are welcome to contribute to this project, add comments, and ,discuss all things about16 You are welcome to contribute to this project, add comments, and discuss all things about 18 17 routing.
